Year 2

Welcome to Year 2

We will be putting our class updates within the icons below to inform you of what we are doing every week. We have planned exciting topics for the year that will not only include new learning, but will build upon skills and knowledge already acquired.

Our PE days are Monday and Friday. Please make sure your child comes into school in their PE kit with their hair tied back and earrings removed.

The children will be given reading books each week and we expect them to record their reading on Boom Reader every week. We will be changing books on a Monday (Rowan) and a set day of the week (Willow). Please continue to use our online platforms to support your child with their Reading, Writing and Maths. They will each have a log in for Boom Reader, Sumdog and Times Table Rockstars. Please let one of the Year 2 team know if you are experiencing any difficulties accessing these platforms.
